WBLA announces the addition of a Pro-Longboard Open event to the already popular “WBLA Kona Waterman Classic!”
Pro-surfers will compete for cash prizes and earn bragging rights for the year on May 18, 2013 in Wrightsville Beach, NC at the contest site located between Columbia Street access 6 and Oceanic off Lumina Ave.
Pros will compete for the top cash prize of $1,000.00. Cash prizes for 2nd and 3rd place will also be awarded based upon the total number of participants in this division.

Our annual Kona Waterman Classic provides opportunity for all to enjoy and challenge their water skills and knowledge, while styling through the pristine waters off our emerald coast.
There will be contestants from as far as Barbados and California competing for the prize money and tuning up for the Virginia Beach “Steel Pier Classic” the following weekend.
All monies raised will help support WBLA’s outreach and annual scholarship fund. Aloha!
