Lighthouse Beer and Wine Killa Beer Festival

Lighthouse Beer Festival 2013

Lighthouse Beer and Wine puts on this fantastic event once a year, always on the 3rd Saturday of October. Mark your calendars for October 19th for the 12th annual Lighthouse Beer and Wine Festival! The festival runs from 1pm-5pm, with a limited number of VIP tickets reaping the benefit of a noon entry and loads of limited beers and this year wine!

Tickets on sale NOW! And VIP tickets are selling faster each year—so be on top of your game! Click here for tickets, or stop by our fantastic specialty beer and wine store, Lighthouse Beer and Wine.

Over 100 craft breweries, and this year the new addition of wineries, will be all in one place! There’s no better way to try all the best beer and wine available. We want you to find new and exciting beverages that you love to sip. You will want nothing more that to hone your hop tasting, tickle your tongue, and have the best beer and wine tasting day of the year. We make a guide for you to have before you go, last year you could either print or put this pdf (from 2012) to your phone to have the guide for the big day!

beerfest07beerfest06Admission includes entrance to the Lighthouse Beer Festival grounds, a glass to sample with, and more beer and wine than you can ever taste in one day. So check out our guide and start planning your beer wanderings for the day. A free shuttle service to the greater Wilmington area will be available after the festival, so go ahead and enjoy yourself. Food vendors will be on site as well, so you can enjoy delicious foods while you explore the world of hops, grape and grain.

As always, a portion of the festival proceeds will benefit The Carousel Center, a non-profit organization committed to assisting victims of child abuse, providing critical care services to children from 15 counties throughout southeastern North Carolina.

Oh, and the bonus of the day (as if more beers than you can shake a tree at were not enough) is the live music that takes the experience over the top! Our bands always rock the casbah; we’ve rocked out to Langhorne Slim—in 2012 we had Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons–this year we’re excited about the Black Lillies!!
